The woman who is so distant yet so friendly. I wonder, what do I gain by thinking of her? But then, what would I gain by not thinking of her? Her lips are tight, sealed shut, like her mysterious soul, whose only outflow is the charm she leaves wherever she goes. What would it be like to be with her in an ancient olive grove in the middle of nowhere? What would it be like to see her swept by the waves of the sea on a summer morning? I’d like to see her somewhere that truly suits her. It’s true that her seriousness fits well in a beautiful office like hers, yet lost within the depths of that seriousness, there is an endless charm that radiates from within her. This charm would be better suited to a tranquil landscape under the Mediterranean sun, beneath the boundless blue sky, or among the forest’s shrubs. This is what she deserves; I’m sure of it. I wouldn’t say I see any signs leading me to this belief; my only argument is the smile that lights up her face in moments of peace.
